Teleport 2 me, live and learn are songs that stuck by me and taught me things in my life. I thought his rock stuff was cool but it wasn't his best either. I still go back to it just not as much.Īround this point it's hard to place this album this low cause I do adore this project but not more that satellite. In my dreams 2015 was just a song I couldn't stand but about 65 to 70% of the album were no problem. Kind of hard to get adjusted to and ironically his most spacey album. Heaven at Night was probably my favorite song off it. Great mixtape but obviously it wasn't his best work since he was a bit new to the game and hasn't evolved to his true potential yet. Lyrics are rich in the album just not enough recognition like I wanted tho. But then I gave it a chance and read on to it's lyrics and he was just destroying that song, same for Cold Blooded.
Lord of the sad and lonely was a song I did not like at all. Cudi is just pissed in this album straight up. I place this as 4 because there are some songs in here that aren't given too much credit for what it's worth. Some people really like to slack on this one but then again everyone is entitled to their opinion. Realization is what I think is output is to this album. With this album feels like he is redeeming himself from his "fall off" period like some like to call it. This new sound is something I didn't expect from cudi again. Really establishes what he is known for at the beginning of his career. MotM1 was just a glimpse on what was happening, but he took his mask off this one.Ī classic obviously. His addictions are set in stone for this one. I absolutely love the eerie atmosphere it gives. This was a really long post, but what are your guy's opinions? Cudi just seems out of his element, and the good instrumentation and experimentation he had with WZRD seems to be lost in the rock here. I've listened to it all the way through but I still don't hear anything too worthwhile, outside of 1 or 2 tracks. I know, some people absolutely love this album. Can't really say much else, but so many songs seem unnecessary. Indicud- Too long of an album, did not feel like it was cudi's own project. WZRD- I liked the new style cudi used with rock, but many songs just seem like cudi's vocals are not fitting with the overall rock instrumentals (High off Life for one), but a few amazing tracks help keep it at #6.ħ. However, really good production and some good tracks make this a good album in my opinion.Ħ. Passion, Pain, and Demon Slaying- although this was a return to cudi's rapping, I personally disliked his new style, seemed as if he's mumbling over a lot of tracks. Also many unnecessary tracks on this album, but overall there are enough really good songs on here to hold it together.ĥ. A kid named cudi- many good tracks on this album, definitely feels very different compared to the rest of his album since it's a mixtape and each song is very distinct and don't really fit with one another. But the best production ever on a cudi album puts it at #3.Ĥ. My main problem with this album is both it's length and also that it feels more like a soundtrack than a full-fledged album. Internal Bleeding, too bad I have to destroy you know, balmain jeans, troubled boy, all great songs. Satellite Flight- really underrated album, is definitely not a hip hop album but many good songs on it, both instrumental and vocals. Not as listenable as MOTM 1 though since a couple of tracks don't seem to fit (ashin kusher) but still a really good album with an overall really amazing production and lyrics ex: All Along, Mr Ragerģ. MOTM 1- essentially perfect, except for make her say, all blends together well with a great overall message and feelĢ. Though Cudi didn’t confirm nor deny his thoughts on the Kim-Kanye-Pete drama, he finished his comment up with a simple message to his once-frequent collaborator and friend: “Ima pray for you brother.Probably have gotten this a lot but interested to see what people's opinions are:ġ. In the message, scrawled in permanent marker, Ye claimed the decision came because Cudi is friends with “you know who.” The reference clearly pointed to Cudi’s friendship with Pete Davidson, whose romance with Kanye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian is getting serious. Cudi’s response? “Everyone knows I’ve been the best thing about your albums since I met you.” Kid Cudi clapped back after Kanye West claimed in a new Instagram post he removed the rapper off his “Donda” album due to his friendship with Pete Davidson. The rapper seemed amused and unbothered after he found himself the target of Kanye’s latest Instagram rant, alleging Kanye will be removing Cudi from the album. There’s one celebrity who doesn’t have any time for Kanye West‘s divorce or Donda 2 drama: Kid Cudi.
Kid Cudi had no time for an Instagram callout from Kanye, claiming he dropped Cudi from ‘Donda’ over his friendship with ‘you know who.’ Cudi’s response? Kanye’s a ‘dinosaur.’
